Live Flight Departures at London Heathrow Airport
London Heathrow Airport Departures
There are five departures terminals at London Heathrow Airport.
When you arrive at Terminal 1 you will need to go to the first floor for check in. Check the monitors as you walk in to see which zone and number desk you should check in at. Zones are denoted by A B C etc. Flights from this terminal are for UK/domestic and Ireland only.
There are a few long haul flights leaving from Terminal 2 but it is the main hub for European flights - currently closed for redevelopment and the following airlines now operate from Terminal 4: Air France, Air Seychelles, Air Transat, CSA Czech Airlines, Libyan Airlines, Rossiya, Syrianair and Tunis Air.
There are a few European flights leaving from Terminal 3 but it is the main hub for long haul flights. Check in at ground floor level.
When you arrive at Terminal 4 you will need to go to the first floor for check in. European and long haul flights depart from Terminal 4.
Terminal 5 is used exclusively by British Airways and your gate will be reached either from the departures area or from one of two satellite terminals which are linked by fast automated transit. Because the gates are arranged around the terminal you will have a shorter walk through passport control and baggage reclaim.
The Check in Hall is on the top floor of terminal 5A with 96 self-service kiosks, over 90 fast bag drops and 54 standard check-in desks.
